The Bryant Park Hotel, located at Bryant Park in Manhattan (between 5th Avenue and the Avenue of the Americas on 40th Street), is less than a 10 minute walk from Times Square and a 20 minute walk from Central Park.
I booked myself a Deluxe View Queen Room. Upon my arrival to NYC, I contacted a manager to ask if the hotel would be able to hold my luggage for a few hours before check-in. Not only was she happy to accommodate our bags, but she offered to upgrade me to a Junior Suite which would be available for check-in at 11AM.
Friday morning, we arrived at the hotel for check-in and were informed that the room wasn’t quite ready. Rather than make us wait, the lovely woman at reception upgraded us further, to the Bryant Park Suite, so that we could check-in at that time.
It was a beautiful room - separate shower and bathtub, slippers, bathrobes, designer toiletries, a separate bedroom, a seating area, room service, a minibar, and large windows with blackout curtains that overlooked the park below.
The manager left yogurt covered pretzels for us and chocolates on our pillows. All of the staff was amazing and so kind.
The Cellar Bar, located a floor below the reception desk, offers select free drinks to hotel guests between 5PM and 6PM on weeknights: an amazing deal anywhere in Manhattan. The hotel also has the prestigious Koi restaurant on its property offering Asian fusion cuisine, which I sadly did not get the chance to try.
The staff and rooms at this hotel make your experience in the Big Apple unforgettable!
