I started my travel career with Trans World Airlines in 1995. I was with TWA for 6 months and was then offered a position with Delta Airlines in St. Louis. I spent the next 20 plus years with Delta in St. Louis as a Field Ticket Agent and as a Red Coat the last 6 years. I worked at the ticket counter, gates and baggage service over that time and enjoyed the close connection to the customers.
I enjoyed the privileges of working for Delta with many travel experiences during my career, including the east coast, west coast, and south coast of the United States. Canada, Switzerland and Italy, plus cruises all around the Caribbean and many trips on the spur of the moment.
I retired from Delta in 2015, but that was not the end of my travel experience. I was retired for 6 months and realized I was missing the travel industry too much. (There is only so much cleaning and organization one can have in their life.)
I was offered a position with Maritz Travel in the Pharmaceutical department booking airline tickets for GSK. I was with Maritz for over a year before leaving to join the exciting world of Brentwood Travel. Everyday you learn something new and see something different.
Travel is the best education that we can offer to everyone young and old. The simplest to the most complex plans will inspire wonder, joy and excitement for the person traveling. The world is an adventure and it is my calling to make it an experience that the traveler will remember and share with their loved ones.
