2025 Travel Resolutions

When you work in the travel industry your resolution list doesn't always include just diet and exercise; instead, it's where to travel next! Some of our staff members have shared where they have planned to travel and hope to travel in 2025. We wish everyone a Happy New Year and we hope you complete your travel resolutions, too!

Christine Wolff - Disney World / The Caribbean / France
"I plan to visit Disney World in March, the Caribbean at some point for some slow time, and France in the winter!"

Allie Edelman - Cancun / Isla Mujeres
"Cancun & Isla Mujeres for honeymoon and hoping to add in another destination!!"

Maria Kazanas - Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida / San Francisco in California / Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California
"I’m excited to travel with my colleague, Christine Wolff, to Walt Disney World Resort and experience Epcot’s Flower & Garden Festival once again! I also can’t wait to visit extended family in one of my favorite US cities, San Francisco next spring! To top off 2025, I will be celebrating my 40th birthday at Disneyland Resort with my immediate family, enjoying the magic of the park’s 70th anniversary!"

Anna Maria Andaloro - Alaskan Cruise / Hawaii / Europe
"In 2025 I would like to go on a cruise to Alaska, and I would love to get back to Hawaii. As well as maybe a trip to Europe, but nothing set in stone yet!"

"My wish list is lengthy, so we’ll see where I end up!"

Chris Roth -Route 66
"I want to drive down Route 66 and visit some destinations along the way. Mammoth Cave State Park and staying at Wigwam Village would be really fun!"

Amber Humphreys - Walt Disney World / Rhine River Cruise & The Netherlands / Ocean Cruise / Alaska
"I'm excited to go to Disney World with my family in January after the holidays! I also plan on going on another river cruise, but this time on the Rhine. I really want to go back to the Netherlands (on a river cruise) to see the tulips in bloom because I missed them the last time I was there. I also want to go on an ocean cruise because I've never been on one. Maybe an Alaskan cruise? That's on my list too!"

"Antigua is next on my list of places to visit!"

Rachel Peters - River Cruise
"I want to go on a Rhine or Danube river cruise (bonus points if it’s a Christmas market cruise😊)"

Leigh Cardwell - Las Vegas / Colorado / Seattle / Surprise trip
March - Las Vegas for my Grandson Bryce’s 21st birthday celebration
May - Frisco Colorado for my Granddaughter's High School Graduation
June - Seattle for my Daughter Paige’s graduation from the University of Washington, with a Master's in Architecture and Urban Design.
July - Surprise trip for my 70th birthday. (Hoping it’s Italy!!)

Dark Sky Week & the Best Places in the World to See the Night Sky

Dark Sky Week is held every year during the week of the new moon in April, and in 2025, it will be held from April 21-28. This week was created to see the true beauty of the night sky by turning off all unnecessary lights worldwide and raising awareness about light pollution. Dark Sky Week was created by highschooler Jennifer Barlow back in 2003, and is recognized by the International Dark-Sky Association, the American Astronomical Society, the Astronomical League, and Sky & Telescope. Barlow wanted to create this week of observance, because she thought it was important to preserve the way that our ancestors saw the night sky and to get rid of any unnecessary lighting that is preventing us from having the same experience.
