Reminiscing of Our Favorite Trips Over the Years

2020 has changed everyone's travel plans for the year. Some people have had to cancel trips, while others went somewhere different. We can't stop thinking about the amazing trips we have taken over the years! From European river cruises to relaxing in Mexico, our staff has gone on an array of adventures all around the world. Check out some of the trips our staff members have taken in the past. It is definitely giving us some inspiration for our next trip. We can't wait to start planning again!

​Walt Disney World, 2019

Last fall lifelong Disney fan and Brentwood Travel Supervisor of Marketing, Missi Wilson, and her husband took their son (10 months old at the time) to Walt Disney World for the first time. The had the BEST TRIP EVER and made unforgettable memories as a family. ​Mexico Cruise on Carnival Vista, 2019

Last summer Travel Consultant, Maggie Groene, sailed on Carnival Vista with stops in Cozumel and Costa Maya. She loved the amazing food and drinks on board, as well as her time in port. Maggie would highly recommend this itinerary and ship for first-time cruisers because of the full experience you will have. ​Secrets Wild Orchid in Jamaica, 2018

Back in summer 2018 Supervisor of Leisure, Stacey Hoehne, went on a 4-night getaway in Jamaica. She had a great time soaking up the sun and the enjoying the resort's amenities. One of the best parts of the resort was the nightly entertainment and daytime activities in the pool area. This was the perfect quick getaway for some sun and sand. ​Italy with G Adventure, 2018

In 2018, Travel Consultant Julie Skrainka and her husband wanted to take another trip to Italy, but wanted to visit cities they have not been to before. They spent a week visiting Sorrento, Pompeii, Naples, Amalfi and more! They loved bonding with the travelers in their group and crossing destinations off their bucket list. ​Tour of Japan, 2018

Travel Consultant Carrie Fry had always wanted to visit Japan. Carrie and her husband have always fascinated by the juxtaposing of modern and ancient. Their eight days in Japan were full of sightseeing and adventure, focusing on the sights in Tokyo, Hakone, and Kyoto! She truly felt like she was transported to a different world. ​Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Spa Resort, 2017

In 2017, President & CEO Stephanie Turner spent a relaxing week in Cabo with her husband, daughter and son-in-law at Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Spa Resort. They stayed in stunning swim-out rooms that made the trip even more luxurious! The resort had many activities to offer during the say, as well as amazing food at the buffets and specialty restaurants. ​Windstar Cruises to Scotland & Ireland, 2017

​Travel Consultants Dianna Paridon and Mary Caraffa traveled together on a voyage with the Windstar Star Pride to the charming villages of Scotland and Ireland in 2017. They enjoyed unique excursions to castles and took in picturesque landscapes onboard the casual and elegant small ship world of Windstar Cruises. ​Cunard Cruise to the Greek Isles, 2016

In August 2016, Travel Consultants Emily Medina and Ashley Curry took a Cunard cruise around the Greek Isles. They had an amazing time aboard Queen Victoria, especially enjoying the nightly entertainment and delicious cuisine. Some of their ports included Athens, Kotor, and Rhodes. ​NCL Cruise to Alaska, 2016

In 2016 Travel Consultant Mickey Gaona took a Norwegian Cruise Line cruise to Alaska. She loved the beautiful ship, which also had amazing entertainment and Freestyle Dining. During her time in Alaska, Mickey made sure to do as many excursions as she could fit in. The nature and wildlife of Alaska will leave you speechless! ​Sailing Europe on Celebrity Edge, 2019

Last summer Executive Vice-President Stacey Acree sailed Europe on the Celebrity Edge. It was a dream sailing the brand-new ship from Celebrity Cruises. ​This itinerary visited the ports of Rome, Naples, Florence, Monte Carlo, Monaco; Cannes, France; Palma De Mallorca, Spain; and Barcelona! She loved exploring the new ship that had exceptional service and a wide variety of dining options. ​European River Cruise with Avalon, 2018

​After 30 years in the Travel Industry, Travel Consultant Michelle Busse FINALLY got a chance to see Europe via the Blue Danube River in 2018 and she could not stop talking about how amazing it was! She and her husband Jim cruised aboard Expression. Their itinerary was called The Blue Danube Discovery with stops in Hungary, Vienna, Dürnstein, Passau, Regensburg & Nuremberg. Michelle and Jim cannot wait to take a river cruise with Avalon Waterways again! ​Denver & Steamboat Springs, Colorado, 2018

In 2018 Travel Consultant Christine Wolff and her friend Lindsay traveled to Denver, Colorado, to visit two of their friends that had relocated there for work. It was a very short trip, but it was just enough to catch up, laugh a lot, and experience the natural beauty that is Colorado! Their three days were full of beautiful city, small town and mountainous views.
